  • Cause his birthday is a milestone to celebrate for me personally too 🌟
Not only is it Finley's birthday but it's a big milestone for me as his mama. It's two years of mothering, two years of breastfeeding, two years of co sleeping, two years of crap sleep and getting through his illness and heart surgery without completely losing my shit. It's two years of being turned inside out, loving more than I realised I was capable of, managing the inevitable mama guilt and deepening my love and acceptance of my body. It's knowing that motherhood gives you the very best and sometimes worst times of your life, but that you wouldn't change a thing or have them any other way. 
Raising a glass to that tonight 🙌🏻

  • REFLECTIONS ON MY WEDDING DAY BODY (today is our anniversary) 💘 - just shared this in my FB group but wanted to share here too.

So I was one of those people who didn't diet before my wedding and lost weight afterwards. When I was thinner, I HATED looking at my wedding photos. I thought I was so fat and ugly and couldn't believe I'd let myself get so big.

Finally though, now that I've gained back some weight and I'm happily maintaining a weight that my body seems to like (I.e I seem to 'stick' at this weight no matter how much my diet fluctuates and I menstruate normally) I can look at my wedding pictures and see how happy and radiant I look. Full of gratitude for that today 🙌🏻 If you're married, how did you feel on your wedding day body wise? Did you diet? How do you feel looking back?

  • @urbanfruituk packs are great for on the go but why not try them in a recipe like these Strawberry and Cream snack balls?

1 cup cashew nuts
10 dried dates
1 snack pack of Urban Fruit dried strawberries
1 tablespoon coconut oil

Chop the cashew nuts in a food processor until they are in small pieces. Add the dates, dried strawberries and coconut oil and process until the mixture sticks together. Then roll into balls and store in the fridge for easy healthy snacking! #fruitonthemove #ad
