Hi I'm Laura! I'm a certified holistic health coach who specialises in working with women around their mindset, self care and balance. I've also been trained in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), meaning I can also help you with practical tools for getting your brain on side, as well as being totally clued up in many areas of health and wellbeing! I also have personal experience of many issues around food, weight, health and wellbeing having overcome them and found my balance - I can completely empathise with what you might be currently dealing with and then help you find your own path through it.

Over the past 5 years I've coached well over 50 women on a 1-2-1 basis to help them create a much happier and healthier life free from food rules and guilt.

Laura helped me to set targets that were achievable and specific for my needs. I never felt like I was on a diet, under pressure or restricted. I'm two stone lighter than I was before coaching, don't take diabetes medication anymore and have discovered that i'm a runner! My life has completely changed through Laura's support and my hard work and i'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her. The first thing I thought when I realised I got into the London Marathon was that I would email Laura. I know if anyone can help me get prepared it's her! This programme is for women who are completely committed and dedicated to taking action to ditch diet mentality, master their mindset and find their balance. You need to be prepared to take action every single week. It’s totally ok if you fall into old self sabotaging behaviours - that’s what I’m here for after all! - But you need to be ready and willing to do the work to explore why that’s happening.

This programme is not for you if you’ve been diagnosed with an eating disorder or if you’re looking for specific nutritional advice around a certain health condition or ailment. Whilst we will discuss nutrition in a wider sense as part of the coaching programme, I am not a qualified nutritionist and will not be offering in depth or specific advice.

This coaching programme is also not for you if you’re simply looking to lose weight. While weight loss can result from the changes we implement, the 3 month time frame of this programme is not adequate to see any dramatic changes in weight - rather the dramatic changes will be seen in your behaviour and outlook!

Since coaching with Laura I have more confidence in myself, a higher level of self-care and just generally happier and more balanced in life. The changes are subtle and long-lasting. I now know what I need to do to look after myself and live happily and healthily. I think a big shift has come as Laura encouraged me to be kinder to myself and more accepting and loving of myself. Now I know I am worth looking after and that when I feel my best everything else in my life improves too. I also now know that the only limits in life are the ones I set for myself and really I can do anything.

If you are struggling health wise or just not feeling at your best coaching with Laura can really help. Not only does Laura focus on health and nutrition but just as importantly on all the other things going on in your life and how you can find more balance. She gently encourages you to examine changes you might be able to make that might make you feel healthier and happier. She is never judgemental but rather like a breath of fresh air in your life.

Is 3 months long enough to see results?

In my experience working with women 3 months can usually see a great deal of progress, and before we start working together we would discuss what goals are realistic to have achieved in that time frame. If at the end of 3 months you feel you want to extend the coaching we can discuss how that might work and I’d also happily offer you a discounted rate on the standard full price.

Can sessions be done in person?

I live in North East England and unfortunately even if you do live locally to me I prefer to keep sessions using Skype or FaceTime rather than charge you the extra travel and time costs that would need to be covered for in person sessions. I’m also dedicated to keeping our discussions confidential and private which can be hard when using a public space for a session.

How do you take payment?

I can accept payment via PayPal (which you can use with a credit card or debit card) or via bank transfer

Laura has taken me from a place of despair where I didn't think I could ever change my bad habits and given me the belief that I can and will. I am still very much a work in progress but I am much kinder to myself about the bad days, I use the tools she's given me to pull myself back up much quicker, and I do believe I can achieve the balance I want now, with time and patience! Working with her is like chatting to a friend, but one that's got brilliant ideas to help you and who understands exactly where you are coming from.

I found my work with Laura extraordinary...I don't know quite how she did it....but after a few simple Skype sessions I felt more in control of my eating and I know how to regain control when I loose it - so I feel so much more secure around food. Her ability to get inside my head and heart and listen to what would work for me was key - because I am not a planner - and I had this fear that I would be forced to plan. Instead I felt validated in my natural self tracking that I do.....and the resource of a workable 'getting back on track method' for post holiday binges - which we all need for our pleasure and joy.
