Interested in becoming a Health Coach? You’re in the right place!

If you’re passionate about health and wellbeing and supporting others to becoming healthier and happier, health coaching could be the perfect profession for you.

There are various courses and training available, however the course I studied and the one I would recommend is the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN).

Learn from leading health and nutrition experts such as…

  • Walter Willett, MD: Chair of Nutrition, Harvard School of Public Health, Chair of the Department of Nutrition at Harvard’s School of Public Health as well as the author of Eat, Drink, and Be Healthy: The Harvard Medical School Guide to Healthy Eating.
  • Andrew Weil, MD: Director of Integrative Medicine, University of Arizona A best-selling author whose books include: Spontaneous Healing and Eight Weeks to Optimal Health. Dr. Weil is a Harvard Medical School graduate and world-renowned expert on medicinal herbs, mind-body interactions and healing systems. He also started the Integrative Medicine program at the University of Arizona.
  • Deepak Chopra: World leader in the field of mind-body medicine: A holistic healer and author of more than 50 books translated into over 35 languages. Deepak is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and one of Time Magazine’s “Top 100 heroes and icons of the century” and “the poet-prophet of alternative medicine.”

I studied with IIN in 2012 and have never looked back! I now run my own business working from home supporting women around their overall well being and none of this would have been possible without IIN. I make more income working 4 days a week now than I did working full time as a senior project manager. Creating your own health coaching practice is totally doable if you’re passionate about wellbeing!

This online course is delivered over one year via an online learning platform, coaching calls and short tests and practical exercises.

Whatever answer comes to you, do it! It doesn't have to be super elaborate, it might just be a little tweak to your day that makes it 10% better. Leaving work early, walking home instead of getting the bus, actually taking your lunch break today, having a bath tonight, having a long due conversation about boundaries with a loved one, a social media unfollow party.

I love self care, it has totally changed my life in so many ways - I'm more content, less full of guilt, calmer, not as anxious and generally I feel like I can handle so much more before I lose my shit (Mums relate right?) While bubble baths are awesome that's not all there is to self care - yet, self care doesn't also have to be this overwhelming to do list of things either.
