Well what a great week of smoothies it has been! I’ve been amazed and delighted at how many people have joined in, just check out the #KHGSgreensmoothiechal hashtag on Twitter and Instagram

Remember it’s not too late to join in either, check out this post for all the details. Basically just post a blog about your green smoothies or share them on social media with the #KHGSgreensmoothiechal hashtag. Remember everyone that joins in get’s entered into a draw to win a smoothie cup!

Here’s a quick run through of the green smoothies I’ve had this week…

Monday green smoothiekale, frozen banana, coconut water

Tuesday green smoothieraspberries, lettuce, chia seeds and almond milk with some coconut shreds

Wednesday green smoothielettuce, frozen blueberries and koko coconut milk. 

Thursday green smoothielettuce, banana, pb flour and koko coconut milk

Friday green smoothiespinach, avo, berries, koko coconut milk

Saturday green smoothiekale, avo, scoop of maple grass fed whey protein and coconut water

I’ve been keeping them pretty simple with not too many added powders and what not. Sometimes the simple ones are definitely the best!

    All of your smoothies are so pretty! I definitely agree that simple green smoothies are best, and that’s something I’m touching on in both of my linkup posts (well, once I write the second one for next week obviously!)

      I think it’s quite nice to get back to the basic ones, I know I had a phase of making really elaborate ones with loads of ingredients!

    The smoothies look great in the smoothie jars. (Adding to my list of things I don’t need but definitely do need!)
    It’s been interesting seeing which smoothies I preferred. I was certain I’d love the peanut butter ones, but actually it has been the kiwi flavoured ones which have really won me over!

    This green smoothie challenge looks fascinating! I’m especially interested in the last smoothie with kale, cherries, avocado, cocoa powder and coconut water (coz I’m a big fan of cocoa). Do you have certain proportion for each ingredient?

      I then to use a handful of kale, about 200g of cherries, half an avocado, 2 tbsp of cocoa powder and 1-2 cups of coconut water – enough to make it blend :-)
